Here’s a thought. Maybe, just maybe, if muslim women took off the darn burkas, actually made more of an effort to integrate, we wouldn’t have this problem in the first place.
Do you want parts of the UK to turn into Pakistan? Because right now, they seem to be doing just that. In England, I’m sorry to say this, but that starts with learning ENGLISH.
England–English.
Germany-German
Russia-Russian
China-Chinese
Japan-Japanese
… and so on …
See the pattern?
Culture = language.
Trouble is, with devout muslims, they don’t really care about anything else except islam. It’s not so much the women that are the problem but the men. And I say that as a man.
The men seem to have a big problem with women (because they’re sexually repressed). And it’s not me who says that but a muslim sociologist woman. I’d link to the video, but I can’t because it’s gone. Banned. Taken down. Yes, that one too.
Women are rarely seen as equal. That’s why they don’t even pray together in a mosque. The women get relegated somewhere else.
What happens when (not if) –when– some poor woman gets stoned to death in a few years’ time? People are going to be outraged Lennart. Be clever, think ahead. At what point would you say “enough is enough”? 85% muslim? (edited)
𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘭𝘪𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘯 𝘣𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘯 i feel sad that you seem to tarnish an entire group of people on the actions of a minority of that group.
Jason, you can only control ʏᴏᴜʀ ᴏᴡɴ emotions. I do not feel sadness, anger or hate towards anyone.🙂
Truth be told it’s more like disapproval really. If someone (a guest) is going to disrespect anothers’ home, then how do you expect people like me to feel?
You’re also assuming that I’d like to tarnish “an entire group of people on the actions of a minority of that group”.
Wrong! — Only the one’s that aren’t integrating! Only the ones that throw acid in other people’s faces. Only the ones that physically attack dogs & their owners on the street because they think “dogs are haram”. Only the ones that are homophobic. Only the ones are misogynists. Only the ones that treat women like second-class citizens. Only the ones that kill their own families if they don’t agree to prearranged marriages. Only the ones that are paedo muslim gang rapists. *cough*Rotheram*cough*Rochdale*cough*Huddersfield*cough*cough*cough*cough* Only the ones that would rather jump up and down and protest the muhammad cartoons instead of the Charlie Hebdo attack itself. Only the ones that go around blowing themselves up (along with totally innocent bystanders). Only them. Certainly not everyone! I thought I’d already made that perfectly clear – I’m not “racist” you know. Good heavens no! Each on his own merits my good man!
Q: how am I meant to refer to that lot? “muslims-that-won’t-integrate”? Islamists? Scum? What? You tell me! Whatever the politically correct term is, 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵’𝘴 how we’ll refer to them okay?
What you’re actually trying to do, see, is use emotional blackmail to manipulate 𝗺𝘆 behaviour and ultimately 𝗺𝘆 actions (or lack thereof). Like if I respond the way YOU want, then that will make YOU feel better (read: happy). You’re hoping for some kind of feedback mechanism here I think. Like if I can make you feel happy, that that in turn will alter what I think and feel. Well hope away son because it’s not coming your way! The trouble there is, a lot of people are “unhappy” about the whole muslim business. And all of these people’s feelings are being ignored, pushed aside, forgotten. What about their feelings? My feelings. Or are your feelings worth more than theirs and mine? Is that how it’s meant to work?
I didn’t feel very ‘happy’ about the Al-Shabaab suicide bombing that happened only yesterday in Somalia, the one that (neither was the Mogadishan policeman that got killed I suppose).
Well sorry, but I’M going to post exactly what *I* want. Not what you want. Ok? You post what you want. I post what I want. Muslims post what they want (and they do). See how fairly that works out?
Why? Well, because these are MY hands hovering above the keyboard, NOT yours. Right? Damn straight. I’m in control of what I do and you’re in control of what you do. And what I’m doing –merely writing and criticising that is– is perfectly LEGAL here in my country. It’s constructive criticism really. It’s pointing out what bits are not at all even remotely acceptable. And if you want to try and shame me online “make me feel bad”, then by all means go right ahead. If it makes you feel better.
Why do I write such things? Well, because that way, the pressure doesn’t build up inside and I won’t explode and then over-react one day. It’s called “letting off steam” and we all need to do it now and then.
In case you hadn’t figured it out already, people, millions of people, have reached their tolerance limit with islam. They just can’t take anymore of it I’m afraid. Look what happened in New Zealand. That dude could not take any more. I personally would rather express my feelings in another way (by writing about them).
And guess what else I’m thinking? Muslims are not as fragile as everyone seems to think. They’re robust enough (except when it comes to cartoons that is, they should really just chill out and move on like every other civilised person does, not chuck a great big hissy fit over it like a two year old temper tantrum). Where was I? Yes I remember. They’ve lasted until now. They don’t need to be ‘protected’ from anyone (except themselves; islamists).
That’s right. A̲d̲u̲l̲t̲ ̲m̲u̲s̲l̲i̲m̲s̲ ̲a̲r̲e̲ ̲a̲d̲u̲l̲t̲s̲.̲ They’re not children. I’d hope by adulthood that they have developed mature emotional responses to things (everything) that they read online, like everyone else (because we are all equal, aren’t we?).
And with that said I am –for once– treating them EXACTLY the same as everyone else. You won’t see any special treatment from me! To do otherwise truly would be discriminatory. To do otherwise would be holding them to a lower standard. I don’t want to hold muslims to a lower standard because that itself would be considered ‘racist’.
To finish off, I think you’d do better to direct your attention to more pressing matters (such as the ones I already mentioned previously).
If everyone is equal, then they can stop all of the above barbaric 7th-century behaviours. Otherwise the barrage of criticism will continue. I think that’s only fair.
